Rev. Allan Jensen serves as volunteer missions coordinator, youth leader, church administrator and God's faithful servant in New Westminster. Allan and his wife, who shares his passion for missions, have served togther in Guatemala and locally; they also lead the middle-school youth group from church in missions-related projects and work several times a year with high school youth on a service project.
In summer 2006, Allan led the youth on a missions trip to Yellowknife. Allan annually leads a youth team on a regional mission to various cities throughout western Canada including Winnipeg, Edmonton, Prince Albert and Victoria; and has served on teams in Rwanda, Bolivia and Mexico.
Allan has preached and served both locally and globally. He has ministered to sick and weak in Africa, preached the good news in Central American prisons, instructed pastors in Rwanda, and preached to his fellow congregrants. Allan believes these opportunities are the result of a calling by God to serve in these places, and God continues to call him to build His Kingdom and devote his life to service. Rev. Allan Jensen shares that, "the true joy is when you use the gifts which God has endowed you in His service". Allan has a real passion for service in Christ's name; he is very compassionate and goes out of his way to be a person who shows God's love in whatever he does. Allan has an amazing ability to know where God wants him to be and to understand the situation he is in, particularly in the missions field where he knows "God placed him precisely there at precisely that time" for a special purpose.
