Rev. Beth MacKenzie's heart is always open and she accepts whoever Jesus places in front of her. Beth enjoys serving God's children and has always felt His presence with her. God has faithfully placed people in Beth's life; putting her in situations where she had to witness to people who were struggling with the death and loss of a loved one. Beth takes the time to guide the young; comfort elderly who are isolated, lonely and only have their faith to keep them going; and act on her compassion for the unfortunate, lonely, homeless and poor.
Rev. Beth MacKenzie believes that everyone has a chance to make the most of this world with the right guidance and support and everyone needs God's friendship:
"God was always there in every circumstance. I took my strength from reading the Bible. God promised, that as his child, He would never to leave or forsake me. I took heart in that revealed truth in God's word. I have applied the principles of the Bible to every situation I have found myself in and they have always directed me in doing what was right and honouring the Lord Jesus. God's word has never failed me."
Beth's inspiration is her grandmother, an extraordinary woman who taught Beth the word of God. Beth's beloved grandmother impressed upon her on how much Jesus was a part of Beth's life and that there is always hope. Rev. Beth MacKenzie serves the Lord by serving families during funerals. Rev. Beth MacKenzie serves couples in their journey of love and life. Beth shares with couples the love that God has given to them as He brought them together to love one another. Beth finds it very rewarding to bring two people together as one in holy matrimony. Next year Beth plans to travel with young people to an African community to assist with development and peace by building shelters for the community.
